Some people mock the debate team, i might have been one of them... but i thought this was some interesting news - or at least nice to use against the ivy leaguers.
Debate Team in Top 20
The Concordia College debate team is ranked 18th in the nation according to the latest rankings published by the National Debate Tournament. The rankings are for the fall 2005 debate season. Concordia is ranked just ahead of Harvard, which is number 19. Others in the top 20 include Emory (1) , Northwestern (7) and Dartmouth (6). The following is a list of the top 20 teams. 1. Emory 2.
